This is honestly my favorite Thor moment. He has no idea what that thing is, where he is, what’s going on, but he’s eating pancakes, and the chick with the taser is pointing another electrical thing at him and there are faces on books, but he’s eating pancakes, and yea he’s knows he’s sexy, so yea, he’ll smile.

She knew everything about this was wrong, and she couldn’t help herself. It felt like something else had taken over her body, her mindset, her total being.

He grabbed her hand, and she forgot who she was. He looked into her eyes like he was the first person to ever see her. She was lost from the first moment. Uncontrollable. Uninhibited. Unbelievable.

When his arms wrapped around her, she could suddenly feel every emotion in her body. Conflict and warmth spread through her simultaneously. Her body telling her to feel him, to be with him. Her mind telling her to listen to her body, yet to also run as fast as she could. He felt good. He felt safe. He felt like all the clichés all at once. But he hurt.

She let go of him. She had to let go of him. As soon as she escaped from his embrace, she felt the heat of her tears. She felt like her organs turned to stone, immovable. Everything felt stuck without his touch. But she knew everything would feel lost with it. She will never understand how one person can make another feel so much all at once. She never knew it was possible, and she’s scared it’ll never happen again.

He grabbed her hand one last time, as she quickly pushed back the tears. She took a deep breath before looking up at the face that she couldn’t live with. The face that she didn’t know if she could live without. She felt that smooth metal wrapped around his third finger, toying with it as he kissed her forehead. His lips found the perfect spot. Her eyes closed. Her fingers gripped his one last time, feeling that cold band once more.

“You’ll always mean the world to me.” She whispered through the struggle of keeping her emotions in check. “You’re so much more than you realize.”

One more glance at him. She closed her eyes tight, kissed him on the cheek, and moved quickly to walk away. She let the tears roll when he couldn’t watch. She felt every emotion in her body. But this would be the last time. She was dying to bring back the life in her lungs.
